I built iShopHQ for the same reason other people do things - because I could. No, really, I built it because I wanted a shopping search engine that worked the way I wanted a shopping search engine to work. I wanted a place where you can easily search for products and compare prices without a lot of flashing ads, rotating banners, scrolling marquees, blinking graphics, and other eye irritants. Clean. Ahhhhhhhhh!
The core of the Internet is information, but information is like water - too much and you can drown. So I'm bringing product information to one place without all the extras. I was tired of going to this site, then that site, then the other site and having to wade through flashing, spinning, revolving, glowing, fading in and out links while trying to keep track of who had what I wanted. So hence my own shopping search engine was born.
So what's different about iShopHQ? Well, nothing I guess, except that I built it. And it's cool. Really cool. And easy to use. And it's not run by some super-ultra-mega-corporation trying to take over the world (or even the Internet!)
On iShopHQ, you get a picture of the product (if one is available), a description, the price and the store that sells it - the essentials you need to help you make an informed shopping decision.
